What roofing works on a flat NYC roof?
Membrane systems like modified bitumen, EPDM or TPO, with proper drainage and flashing at parapets. Shingles do not belong on a flat roof.
Do I need a permit for roofing, siding or windows?
Sometimes, depending on the scope and whether the building is landmarked or multi-unit. We file DOB permits where required and coordinate with co-op or condo boards.
Will new windows actually lower my heating bill?
