Who we are

This website is operated by Empire Pro NY, doing business as Empire Pro NY. We are a home services contractor based on Staten Island serving all five boroughs of New York City. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect when you request a quote

When you fill out our quote or contact form, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the service you need, your borough, and a message describing the job. Some forms also ask for a ZIP code, how urgent the work is, and the page you were on when you submitted.

We collect this information for one reason: to respond to your request and give you an estimate. We do not use the form to build marketing lists.

How we store and use quote requests

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare and are emailed to our team so a person can call or write you back. Our team can also view, update and export submissions through a private administrative area of this website that requires a login.

We use your contact details to follow up on your request, schedule an estimate or a visit, and send you a written proposal if you ask for one. We keep submissions as long as we need them to serve you and to keep business records, and we delete them when you ask us to unless the law requires us to keep them.

Usage events

To understand which pages help people reach us, this website records simple usage events: which page was viewed, when the call button or the booking link was clicked, and when a form was started or submitted. These events are sent to our own server. If you have accepted analytics cookies in the cookie notice, the same button and form events are also sent to Google Analytics, as described below; if you have not, they stay with us.

Our own events do not use cookies. They do not include your name or contact details unless you submit a form. We use them in aggregate to improve the website.

Spam protection

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a tool that checks whether a submission comes from a real person rather than an automated script. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device to make that decision. It is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We also use a hidden form field and rate limits to block automated submissions.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own on its public pages. The only cookie we set is a session cookie on the private administrative area, which keeps our team members signed in. Visitors never receive this cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile, described above, may set its own cookies on Cloudflare’s domain under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The first time you visit, a small notice at the bottom of the page asks whether we may use Google Analytics cookies. Nothing from Google is loaded until you choose. If you choose Accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from another; if you choose Decline, no Google cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser and the notice is not shown again.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie choices button at the very bottom of any page, below the footer, which brings the notice back. Clearing your browser data also clears the choice, and we will ask again.

Analytics and advertising tags

This website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, and loads it only after you accept in the cookie notice. We use it to count visits and to see which pages lead to calls, estimate requests and bookings. When it runs, Google Analytics collects the pages you view, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location as estimated from your network address, how you arrived at the site, and the same button and form events we record ourselves, such as a click on the call button or a submitted form. It does not receive your name, phone number, email address or anything you type into a form.

Google processes this information under its own privacy policy and the terms of Google Analytics. Until you accept, and whenever you decline, Google Analytics does not load at all, no Google cookies are set, and the website works exactly the same way. Declining takes nothing away from you.

No advertising pixels run on this website today. If we later add Google Ads conversion measurement, it will run only for visitors who have accepted in the same cookie notice, and we will update this section first. We will not enable it silently.

Text messages

If you check the box agreeing to receive text messages, we may text you about your quote request, appointment or job. We send texts only with your consent, and we do not send marketing texts unless you have separately agreed to them.

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Consent to texts is not a condition of hiring us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, such as our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider, and only to the extent needed to do that work.

If you ask about financing, we will tell you how to apply with a third-party financing partner. We do not send your information to a financing partner unless you ask us to.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Where the law gives you these rights we honor them as the law requires, and we honor them as a matter of practice for anyone who contacts us. Email us at the address on our Contact page.

We will verify that the request comes from you before releasing or deleting information.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. This website is served over an encrypted connection, form data is stored with our hosting provider, and access to submissions is limited to our team through a protected login. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to include sensitive information such as financial account numbers in a form message.

Children

This website is intended for adults who own or manage property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website and practices change. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
