Burst pipe or active leak
Frozen supply lines, failed fittings and corroded risers can dump a lot of water quickly. Shut the main, open a low faucet to drain the lines, and call. We repair the break and check for damage behind the wall.
Overview
Plumbing, done right
Plumbing in a New York home has a long memory. Galvanized supply lines that have narrowed to a trickle, a cast-iron stack with a hairline crack, a water heater squeezed into a closet, a boiler feed that drips onto the basement floor. When something gives, you need a plumber who knows these systems and can get there fast.
Empire Pro NY handles the whole house: supply and drain lines, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, sewer laterals and the valves that control all of it. We diagnose before we quote, explain the fix in plain language and leave the work clean and tested. If a permit is required, we pull it.
We are licensed and insured, we answer 24/7 for emergencies, and estimates are free. And because we are a full-service contractor, the wall we open to reach a pipe gets closed and finished by the same company. No second contractor, no gap in the schedule.
What we fix
Burst or leaking pipes
A pinhole in copper or a split in an old galvanized line can soak a ceiling in an hour. We shut it down, repair or replace the section, and check for hidden damage.
No hot water
Tank heaters, tankless units and boiler coils all fail differently. We find the cause, repair when it makes sense and replace when it does not.
Low water pressure
Corroded galvanized supply lines, a failing pressure-reducing valve or a partly closed main can all choke your pressure. We trace it and fix it.
Sewer and drain line problems
Cracked cast iron, root-filled clay laterals and sagging lines cause backups that keep returning. We camera the line and repair or replace it.
Gas line leaks and new runs
A gas smell is an emergency: leave the building and call the utility or emergency services first, then call us. We repair and run gas lines for ranges, dryers, boilers and heaters.
Basement apartment plumbing
Below-grade bathrooms and kitchens need ejector pumps and backwater valves done right. We install and service both.

Questions people ask
How much will my plumbing repair cost?
Every leak and every house is different, so we price after we see it. You get a written estimate before any work begins, and estimates are free.
What should I do if a pipe bursts?
Close the main water shutoff, usually near where the water line enters the basement or utility area, then turn off the water heater and call us. We will walk you through it on the phone.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
If the tank itself is leaking, replacement is the answer. For a failed element, valve or igniter, a repair often makes sense. We tell you which one you are looking at.
Do you handle permits and co-op or condo approvals?
Yes. We pull DOB permits where required and provide the paperwork and insurance documents that boards and managing agents ask for.
