These terms are issued by Empire Pro NY, doing business as Empire Pro NY, which operates this website. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website only. Any work we perform at your property is governed by the written proposal or contract you sign with us.

What this website is for

The site describes the services we offer, lets you request a quote or contact us, and gives general information about home repair and remodeling in New York City. The content is for information. It is not engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice, and it does not replace an in-person inspection of your property.

Conditions inside a home vary. Nothing on this site should be read as a diagnosis of your specific plumbing, heating, electrical or structural situation.

How estimates work

When you call or submit the form, we will talk through the job and, in most cases, visit your property to look at it before we put a number on it. There is no charge for the estimate.

An estimate is our good-faith assessment of the scope and cost at the time we give it. It is not a contract and it does not bind either of us. Work begins only after you sign a written proposal that sets out the scope, the price and the schedule. If the scope changes once work is under way, changes are agreed in writing before they are performed.

Emergency service

We offer emergency service around the clock for problems such as floods, burst pipes, sewer backups, loss of heat and electrical hazards. When you call for an emergency, we will tell you what to do while you wait and dispatch a technician as fast as we can. Emergency work is still confirmed in writing, which may be done on site, before the repair proceeds.

Financing

Financing options are available for qualifying projects through third-party lenders. We do not lend money ourselves. Approval, interest rates, terms and conditions are set by the lender and depend on your application and credit. Ask us and we will explain the options and point you to the application.

Any statement on this site about financing is a general description of what may be available. It is not an offer of credit.

Licensing and insurance

We are licensed and insured. Our New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection Home Improvement Contractor license number, and our licensed Master Plumber and Master Electrician numbers, are shown in the footer of this site. Certificates of insurance are available on request and are provided to co-op and condo boards before work begins.

Where the New York City Department of Buildings or another authority requires a permit for work at your property, we obtain it or tell you in writing that one is required.

Using the site

You agree to use the site only for its intended purpose. You will not submit false information through our forms, attempt to interfere with the site, scrape content, or use automated tools to send requests. We may block access from any source that abuses the site.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and other measures that filter automated submissions. By submitting a form you consent to that screening.

Contacting you

When you submit a request, you agree that we may call or email you about it. We will text you only if you have agreed to receive texts, and you can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you share.

Our content

The text, logo, illustrations, animations, videos and code on this site belong to Empire Pro NY or are used under license. You may view and print pages for your own use in deciding whether to hire us. You may not copy, republish or use our content commercially without written permission.
